Thank you for your interest in Ladders To Leaders (L2L).  We are pleased that you are ready to start your recovery journey.  Before we proceed to the application, let’s make sure you’re sure the L2L program is a good fit for you.  Please read over our programs rules and regulations:

  • Upon admission the house manager is required to  have the new resident place all clothing and linens in the dryer and run the dryer on the highest setting for 30 minutes to prevent the spread of bedbugs. 

  • You will not be given weekend passes until you have lived at the house for 10 days.  After that, requests for weekend passes must be submitted to the house manager by 6 PM on the Thursday prior to the weekend being requested.  Your house cleaning detail/chores must be completed before leaving and approved by the house manager. You may be subject to toxicology testing upon returning.

  • You may be subject to toxicology testing at any time. 

  • You must obtain a sponsor 

  • You must work a program of recovery

  • You must attend House Meetings regularly. 

  • You must attend five (5) 12-Step meetings per week. These are also acceptable recovery meetings IOP, OP, Therapy, Smart, Celebrate Recovery, Zoom. 

  • You must attend a minimum of 3 in person meetings per week out of the 5

  • You must complete assigned weekly chores as required weekly, and when needed. All chores must be completed on time and thoroughly.

  • You must respect house property. 

  • You must respect housemates’ things; do not touch the belongings of others without permission. 

  • REMEMBER TO BE KIND TO YOUR NEIGHBOR. This means your housemates and neighbors in the community. L2L takes being a good neighbor very seriously. Participants are expected to be courteous, respectful, and helpful to neighbors. Causing disharmony in the neighborhood is grounds for dismissal from the L2L program.

  • You must remove your personal items within ten (10) days of move-out; failure to do so will result in your possessions being disposed of.

  • Lodging at L2L is based upon continued sobriety, therefore drinking alcohol or using drugs is not permitted and is cause for dismissal from the program.

  • Rent is due weekly to L2L office staff or your house manager.  Unless you pay monthly then due on the scheduled date 

  • Lying and stealing are not permitted.

  • Violence, hostile, abusive, obscene, or inflammatory speech is not permitted and will result in immediate dismissal from the house.

  • All residents will treat fellow residents and their guests with respect at all times.

  • Guests are allowed in common areas only - living room, dining area, kitchen, the main bath, front deck-for 1-hour visits, during non-curfew hours only. Guests are not allowed in private rooms.

  • Curfew is 11 pm-5 am Sunday-Thursday nights, and 1 am-5 am Friday and Saturday nights. It is the resident’s responsibility to contact the house manager when curfew will not be met.

  • All prescription and nonprescription medications are required to be kept in their original containers, clearly labeled and placed in a secure location (Lockbox). 

  • All residents are responsible for the cleanliness of living areas. Lodging in a communal environment requires residents to clean up after themselves. Rooms should be left in a presentable condition when leaving the house.

  • There is no expectation of privacy or exclusivity in regard to occupancy; resident living areas may be accessed, entered into and/or otherwise inspected and/or visited by at least 2 members of L2L staff at any time and for any reason,  resident will be told of this action in person if they are home at the time or via phone call, or text if not home.

  • Recovery always comes first.
